About the Photographer - Tyler Brunner
I am in a fight against perfectionism. It holds me back. I’ve neglected to do many things for fear they wouldn’t turn out perfect. Perfectionism is procrastination. Perfectionism is the enemy of self-belief. Perfection is unattainable. And only when I fight against perfectionism am I actually able to create something I am proud of.
That’s why I love photography. Sometimes I get the perfect shot. Ninety-nine percent of the time I don’t. But perfection is not what I strive for. Capturing an emotion, a feeling, expression—these are what drive me.
The real, the raw, life as it is in all its imperfections is what defines Seen. I have been have been working as a landscape photographer for over 20 years, taking in all the scenery has had to say. Now I turn my eye towards you, anticipating what great things you have to reveal, some of which may have long been buried underneath the surface.
